No Corruption - April Towers

This was the second commission I received from the band and one I felt I had most creative freedom. The band wanted something reminiscent of the 1980’s flavour the song has. I chose a narrative that showed a man seeking a job and some meaning in a modern London, being ignored, ultimately forgotten and taken by his inner demons while at his weakest.

Shot on 16mm Film. East London.

Nobody - Matt Cardle

Matt came to me wanting something personal and that discarded the distraction of narrative. I suggested something that focused on performance and the emotion behind the lyrics. Using the iconic Sinead O’Connor - Nothing Compares To You video as a kicking off point for inspiration we finished with this stripped back black and white video.

This was premiered on the ITV prime time Lorraine Show. Released by Sony.

HIT THE BOTTLE

The Pearl Harts

This video was a great collaboration with a talented group. We built a white screen in a warehouse and used another part of the warehouse to create a juxtapose for this unadulterated performance video letting the band and the music do all the arse kicking!

Produced With ATC Group.

A Little Bit Of Fear - April Towers

Shot in sunny Skegness! A huge part of the idea was due to be finished in post production but that was pulled after we had already shot the video so we cut it with the footage we had which luckily looked good!

Tel Aviv - April Towers

I was trying out a visual experiment with this one. The monochrome landscapes of rocky St Agnes in Cornwall spliced with clean cut studio footage of the boys. Trying to make something that worked harmoniously.

Demob Happy - Gods I’ve Seen

Unplugged version of "Gods I've Seen" recorded at Dean St. Studios.

Arcadia - April Towers

This is the first music video I made. Shot on a handy Canon SLR.

Takes One To Know One - April Towers

Shot on Super 8mm Film in London Fields.

Get Recovered - April Towers

Shot live at Koko, Camden.

Forbidden Fruit - Eden XO (UNRELEASED)

Sadly due to problems with the management, the time the only work I have to show are the screen grabs from this video. Eden was great to work with and performed fantastically, so it was a real shame. She is no longer associated with that manager.
